hmmm, the reasons you give don't seem to have anything to do with the
reasoning behind the "valid only for the duration"..
This is an issue about whether the server implementation (on the
upstream server) should maintain state with regards to the DONTSEND
commands. ie. "Should I permanently update my newsfeeds file when a
DONTSEND is received, or should I just make DONTSEND changes to the
current session?"
And I think the latter is the smarter way to go.
